The Formula One Litter
We welcomed our Haka x Banzai Litter on March 17, 2025. We had a Chocolate Female, a Black Female, and a Black Male. Since the labor started on the day of the first F1 race for the season, it seems fitting to have the litter be F1.
Our male is "McLaren" For Team McLaren
Our black girl is "Alpine" ( pronounced Al-Peen) for Team BWT Alpine
Our Chocolate girl is "Sauber" for Team Stake Kick Sauber

Week one is complete!
The racecars got themselves some pretty fancy collars from No Ruffs to grow into today
Everyone's been eating and growing well, McLaren is now sitting at just over 17 oz, with Alpine at 14.5 oz and Sauber at 11.2 oz. All have tripled their birth weights with room to spare.
We have become very active racecars in the last two days, so I expect the weight gain to slow a little. We are also thinking about opening our ears and eyes this week, this will probably be our last super relaxed week before the real fun starts, but we're definitely starting to have some personality.
We **may** have a girl looking for placement. I won't decide for a few weeks yet
Week Two is complete.
We all have eyes, ears, and voices now. We are waddling around and getting our legs under us. We are all well over a pound and still gaining well. This week three will be the start of the fun

We've reached the halfway point!
We're officially 4 weeks. We've started trying to eat food, we've started self potty training, we're all running (if you could call it running)and climbing, and we had our first adventure outside too.
We're still waiting for DNA results. Soon we'll be accepting visitors.
Three weeks old today!
We are all trying to escape the confines of the whelping box. We've discovered toys, howling, and the joys of biting absolutely everything and anything.
We did the Embark DNA on Friday to test for genetic diseases, in a few weeks we'll have results. We learned about wearing collars this last week too, a necessary stress to learn in life.
far as weights we are all still portly. McLaren has hit 1kg, Alpine is teetering right under 1 kg, and Sauber is sitting at 28 oz (about .8 kg).
Our walking around has improved, though still wobbly and uncoordinated. In this next week I assume our peace will be over and the mayhem will begin.

We're 5 weeks!
Picture time has become exponentially more difficult. We are fully mobile now, running jumping and fighting. We've succeeded in climbing out of the indoor pen and we've learned how to use our new teeth 😈😈.So far they've been fantastic puppies, handling all the new things we've shown them in stride.
DNA is back, time to start finalizing placements in the next few weeks. We'll start seeing visitors this coming weekend.
We've reached 6 weeks!

We're exploring and learning everything we can. We've learned our legs and we're running jumping and being menaces to society. We love our outside time and we have no disagreements with traveling.

This next week we finalize our placement choices and start preparing for them to start heading to their new adventures.

Life moves fast and it's not fair
They turned 7 weeks yesterday. Their cute collars fit, and (for the most part) we can sit still long enough for a picture. They had a big week last week, lots of car adventures and new friends. They had their Volhard puppy tests and they're lovely solid and stable puppies.
This next week is also full of big things, but it's mostly pokes, jabs and stuff that's not so fun.
We've made it to 8 weeks
We are miniature dogs with full size attitudes now. Now we start to learn about crates, leashes and big dog stuff.
New families soon.

Pink collar will be staying with us here, official name is pending.
